My husband Jimmy and I had a baby boy in June 2009 through gestational surrogacy due to various and sundry physical issues. This blog originally started out as a way to chronicle our journey to parenthood after 4 long years of trying to have a child and then morphed into parenting and current events reflections (I have lots to say about, well, anything and everything it seems).
My not-so-little little boy is 12 now. I cannot believe it. I’m trying to return to blogging after a long hiatus. I’m a widow now. It’s just the two of us and our second generation of 3 cats. It’s hard. It’s nothing I would have signed up for. But we are figuring it out. One day at a time and one foot in front of the other.
K,
This is so awesome and beautiful! Thank you for sharing it with me. And I am so EXCITED for you!!! He will be here before you know it, so you better be ready. And enjoy all of this, it is for real!!!
Love,
Kami
I’m so glad to have found your site. I am also blogging about gestational surrogacy. It’s been difficult finding a place to ‘fit in’. I don’t fit into the infertility community because I am fertile (I can’t carry due to spinal injuries and chronic pain), but I don’t fit into the chronic pain and pregnant community. Thanks for your blog!
Hi there! My name is Heather and I was hoping you would be willing to answer a quick question I have about your blog! Please email me at Lifesabanquet1(at)gmail(dot)com 🙂
Good to read about you..
