Off Kilter

May 30, 2012

A coworker and I joke that Tuesdays tend to be sucky days. He has an extensive, somewhat absurd theory why this is so, but anecdotally, crappy stuff tends to happen on Tuesdays.

Yesterday was a weird day that included cleaning up a glass of water spilled by an over-zealous cat, dumping coffee in my purse and discovering poor Daniel had a 101.5 degree fever. I felt off-kilter and off-balance all day.

And then I discovered why when I went to change out of my work clothes. Look at my shoes. I wore two different shoes all day. Shoes with slightly different heel heights. Embarrassing.

I had literally been off-kilter all day.

haha. Too funny and I hate to admit it, but I’ve done the same thing, except I wore different sneakers to work. I hope your back was feeling ok after that!

I’ve done the same thing! I agree with JJ – NEW fashion statement! Hope Daniel is feeling better!

I call Tuesdays “ticked off Tuesday” for that very reason. It seems like much more craziness happens on a Tuesday than a Monday these days!

That is so funny. I’ve put on shoes of the same style, but one was black the other was brown, but never 2 completely different shoes. Love it. No one must have noticed though if they didn’t say anything.

Love this story! Sorry about the off-kilter day. But at least there wasn’t much room to go anywhere but up from there. I hope your days have all been on-kilter since.

Thanks for sharing. Stopping by from SITS.
